What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect financial information such as bank account numbers, credit card details, or UPI IDs through the student portal. We do not collect individual national identity numbers or Aadhaar details. We do not collect biometric data. We do not track precise real-time GPS location.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:
- To create and manage your student account on our platform.
- To deliver personalised educational content aligned with the Telangana TS State Syllabus.
- To track academic progress and generate performance reports for students and parents.
- To provide doubt-clearing support through WhatsApp and in-app chat systems.
- To send important notifications about new lessons, test schedules, and results.
- To conduct Talent Tests and display leaderboard rankings securely.
- To improve and maintain the technical performance of our portal and mobile application.

Under the DPDPA 2023, we process your personal data on the basis of Consent provided by the parent or guardian at the time of student registration, Legitimate interests to deliver educational services, and Legal obligations where required by applicable Indian law.
6. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We take the sharing of your personal data very seriously. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party under any circumstances.
We may share data only in the following limited and specific situations:
6.1 Authorised Employees: Only Vagdevi Digital Learning staff who are directly involved in delivering educational services — such as teachers, content creators, and customer support — have access to student data. All staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6.2 Technology Service Providers: We may use trusted third-party technology providers (such as cloud hosting services, SMS OTP providers, or app analytics tools) who process data on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purpose of providing services to Vagdevi Digital Learning.
6.3 Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by a court order, government authority, or applicable Indian law.
6.4 School Partners: If Vagdevi Digital Learning has a formal partnership with your school, we may share academic progress summaries with the school administration. No additional personal details will be shared without explicit consent.
